Chronosaur wallpaper - Easter Island Rampage

A few years ago I worked on a game called Chronosaur for Zipline Games. It was an endless running game about a t-rex who travels through time and devours all of history. This was a bit of promotional art I did for the game. If you click on the download button (to the right of the image) you can download a wallpaper pack with a few common resolutions.

In addition to games, Zipline is also developing the MOAI SDK. So naturally Easter Island was penned as one of the scenic locations Chronosaur would destroy.

Fun fact #1: If you look really closely at the first Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter video, this wallpaper is on someone's screen at 0:17. I am stupidly happy about that for whatever reason.

Fun fact #2: Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 originally had a time-travelling t-rex character named Chronosaur as well. Unfortunately for them we trademarked the name first and they wound up changing the name to Epochosaurus at the last minute, which was too bad because I was hoping they'd leave it in purely for my own amusement.

Fun fact #3: I worked on two other games at Zipline: Wolf Toss and Slots Tycoon. We snuck Chronosaur into both games. He's very well disguised in Slots Tycoon, though, so he'll be tricky to find!

Sadly, this game was postponed indefinitely a few years ago, so I don't know if/when it will ever be launched. The good news is that I am finally able to share some of the art I did.
