There's no way I could possibly ship it without it arriving as dust. It's so fragile! It's also full of the biggest and most unsightly cracks. I would be too embarrassed to sell it.

that's such a shame. It is quite beautiful. You should retry with skulpy (sp) it's very durable. Maybe then you could sell it to someone. ^-^

Oh man! It looks like all the photos on my LJ are down. That's no good. I'll try to fix that right now.

It wasn't actually a problem with the cast. I actually broke the sculpture before I had a chance!

Thank you for all the kind words!

Our class was really weird in that we weren't scored by project but on our overall body of work by the end of the semester. I got an A for the class. :D

Um, pretty big. Unfortunately I don't have it here with me so I can't measure it, but I could have sworn I've answered this question once or twice so if you're REALLY curious you could probably find the answer by flipping through the comments.

I would guestimate it at about 1-1.5 feet tall...

That's awesome. I wish I could have done something nice in sculpture class. Not very many students in the class were talented, and most of them didn't want to be there. So our teacher made us do stupid, extremely specific work to do. I failed at making anything worth being called art, except for one piece, but it was a character off a web site.
