Whew! Finished at last! I've been working on this for the last 6 weeks, I'm glad to be done, haha.

Project for sculpture class. More photos and slightly more information here.

(70 hours later... Rahbop is dead, but we have a pretty sculpture. Wait! There will be no artist left to take the picture for us to see! Doh!)

70 hours? haha, It took me over 30 hours to do just the head! @__@ Yes, there would be Rah-Bop death. But a full-body would be kickass. I just need to find someone to help fund the 3 tons of clay I'd use. ;)

DUDE! That looks awesomely awesome!. ^__^ I still adore the feathercrest (looks like a kickass mohawk ;3) and the beak is perfect. The feathers on the wings look lovely, btw.

I would be too if I took a huge lump of clay and created a masterpiece from it. ^__^ If only you could keep it. I guess you could always sneak in the room in the cover of darkness and smuggle it all ninja-like.... That would be sweet. X3

^^;;; Haha, I would have to recruit a stronger person to do it for me. See that box it's on in the picture? It's a short box. I found that while I was usually okay moving the gryphon from one part of the room to the other, trying to lift it vertically just a couple feet from the short box to a table was beyond my capability. I fried my thighs so much while struggling to lift this stupid thing that I had trouble walking later (my legs kept trying to give out!) and even now they're still a little numb. Hey, though, I bet you're stronger than I am. Wanna be my ninja accomplice?
