So I was playing Assassin's Creed 2, right, and I was fighting this big group of guards. An npc had been standing and sweeping before the fight, and as soon as the swords came out he abandoned his broom and split. Once I had finished slaughtering everyone, I was like "hey look a broom. Can I pick this up?" I tried and to my surprise, I could! Then I thought "can I swing this?" So I gave it a swing and totally brained some lady standing nearby. A one-hit KO, just whacked her completely by accident and down she went. As the crowd of npcs that had been spectating stampeded away from me down the streets of Florence, I pickpocketed the lady's dead body. It turns out she was carrying a poison. Perhaps I just saved someone's life!
Since then, I've used the broom many times in combat. If you see a man sweeping, you can give him a "gentle push" (like when you're trying to slowly pass through crowds) and he'll drop the broom and shamble away like an Alzheimer's patient. Then you can take the broom and beat some guards to death with it. I don't know why, but it acts like a mace or hammer. It makes very suspicious clanging sounds.
Whenever I use it, I make this face (except way more crazy.)
fffffff why am i posting this here. i'll move this nonsense to scraps shortly. o-o-okay, jeez you guys. I'll leave it here, gosh. D:
I did pretty much the same thing! Someone told me you could pick up the brooms, so I found a guy sweeping and took his broom. I gave it a swing and just brained some innocent guy standing there. I felt bad but I couldn't help laugh a bit because it was so ridiculous!
Who needs tomahawks, right?
